About the project

The STEAM Challenge is a collaborative project written together with seven project partners and is co-financed by the Erasmus+ program.

Objectives:  The project aims to create opportunities for sustainable ECEC by creating a one-year planning resource book

which includes STEAM education model application samples, STEAM education blog and YouTube channel for teachers,

education administrators and even parents. It also aims to increase environmental awareness and 21st century skills of the teachers

and the students.

 

Implementation: 

  • teacher trainings on STEAM education method to teachers in the partner organizations;

  • building STEAM labs in our organizations;

  • preparation of STEAM lesson plans that include a hands-on one-year curriculum with trainings;

  • creating a resource book with a one-year study plan, including the theoretical information of the STEAM education model;

  • sharing the training videos and the implementation stages of the plans on the digital education channels and on the blog.

 

Results:

  • improving the quality of Early Childhood Education;

  • developing 21st century skills and STEAM skills for teachers and children so they can include  them into the curriculum;

  • creating a list of STEAM materials with standards for the ECE period, organize STEAM labs in Partner schools in line with the list;

  • creating environmental awareness through STEAM;

  • creating a one-year resource book with practices and digital education platform with theoretical knowledge that can be used

    in the Early Childhood Education period and many more years to come.
