First project meeting in Brad, Romania (C1 – “What is STE(A)M?”, teacher training)

The first project meeting (teacher training) took place between 20.11.2023 and 24.11.2023 in Brad, Romania. The host organization was Scoala Gimnaziala "Mircea Santimbreanu". Partners from Türkiye, Estonia, Romania, Slovenia and Spain met.
Content of the training:
• General Information About STE(A)M Education,
• STE(A)M Education and its goals.
• Design thinking techniques.
• Student motivation and self-confidence boosting methods.
• STE(A)M Education Applications in the World.
• Examples of STE(A)M Education and its applications in the world.
• The place and importance of STE(A)M Education designs in the world.
• Pedagogical impact of STE(A)M practices.
• Scientific Knowledge and Skills - Nature of science - Science literacy - Scientific process skills - Critical thinking.
• How to use Google Calendar, Google Docs and Google Drive.
The project meeting week was informative, concise, collaborative and full of joy and discovery.
It was a great pleasure to get to know Romania and its attractions, as well as the education system and children, teachers.
The training days were educational and gave the opportunity to cooperate between different countries, to discover, research and experiment.
