Wind energy

For the theme "Energy resources" i did a activity for a group of children aged 3-4 years in which we focused on the energy produced by the wind, namely wind energy. To capture their attention, I showed them a video about the energy produced by the wind naturally, what is a wind turbine or a weather vane. Together we designed a kind of wind turbine from colored paper to demonstrate to them that by blowing it rotates producing a movement. I gave an example to the preschoolers that there is such a big wind turbine that, moved by the wind, helps the bakers to grind the flour. They were very excited and we even went outside to test their „wind turbine” in a natural setting.
