Second project meeting in Hrastnik, Slovenia (C2 - "WORKING WITH STE(A)M"”, teacher training)

The second project meeting (teacher training) took place between 22.01.2024 and 26.01.2024 in Hrastnik, Slovenia. The host organization was VRTEC HRASTNIK in Slovenia. Partners from Türkiye, Estonia, Romania, Slovenia and Spain met.

Content of the training:

·       5E Approach. What is the 5E approach?

·       Examples of interdisciplinary use of the 5E approach.

·       Project Based Learning.

·       Inquiry-Based Learning.

·       Modelling (mathematical modeling, classification of models, the place of models in science).

·       Context-Based Learning. What is context-based teaching? The use of context in context-based teaching. Writing the contexts.

·       Integrating STEM Education into Lessons. Information about the promotion of the STEM laboratory and center, the participation of students, the principles and procedures of applying to the school. Microsoft teacher tools showcase – Canva, Web2 tool lessons.

The project meeting was exciting, informative and collaborative. In addition to the practical trainings, we also had the opportunity to visit the Celje tehnopark and try our hand at creating animation.

At the same time, we also enjoyed the beautiful nature and sights of Slovenia.
